It was with great sadness that we recently said farewell to Angela Evans of Merthyr. Angela was a dear friend to many and without doubt a true Ospreys stalwart.Angela and her family, were regular visitors to the then, Riverside Bar, both before and after each home game. Their dedication to supporting the Ospreys saw them regularly over the years, travel throughout Britain, Ireland, France and Italy.
The floral, written and spoken tributes that the family received were a fitting testimony to this kind, generous and beautiful lady, who never failed to make a positive impression on all who met her! The number of people and age range that attended the celebration of Angela’s life, reflected the personal respect she held not only within her extended family but in her place of work, in her local community and of course, within our Ospreys family!
Our thoughts remain with Angela’s husband Wayne, daughter Claire, son Lee, her son in law Rhys, daughter-in-law Michelle and her much loved grandchildren, Evelyn, Grace and James.
RIP Angela, you will be sorely missed x
