Congratulations to Owen Watkin on winning January’s OSCA for player of the month.

The young ospreys Academy product from Bryncethin put in some barnstorming runs, cumulating in a scintillating break from our own line in the closing minutes of the 20-20 draw against Glasgow Warriors.

This month saw a significant increase in voting numbers, mainly through the Ospreys sharing our Facebook post (thanks!!!) but partly through individuals voting repetitively (and we know who you are).  This did not influence the result, however voters will now need to register and log into the website to take part in votes.

Thanks for your vote

Firstly we would like to thank all supporters who used the OSC coach transport to Exeter last weekend.  We are sure that the majority of you will agree that it was a successful trip despite the result. However we would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those supporters who travelled on Bus 1.

It has come to light that one individual appeared to be highly intoxicated and became abusive and threatening to fellow passengers and OSC representatives. We do not condone such actions and behaviour such as this will not be tolerated. Any perpetrators will be banned from future travel with the OSC.  We do not want to tarnish the fantastic reputation that our supporters have.

The OSC representatives who travelled on the coaches are volunteers who give up their own time to make sure that all supporters have a smooth and enjoyable journey.  They do not need to be subjected to abuse.  The same can be said for fellow passengers.

We are all travelling to away games with the same sole purpose, to support the Ospreys and have a good time, and we want to this to take place in a safe and inclusive environment on all trips

Thexetere OSC will be running a day trip to Exeter for round 6 of the Champions Cup.  The price for the bus is just £20 per person (there are no discounted rates available sorry for children, OAPs, season ticket holders or ex players) – please make sure you sort out your own match tickets!  You can buy match tickets via the Ospreys website here

Book your seats pre or post match in the Riverside Bar & 2003 Lounge or via email annette@ospreyssupportersclub.com

Departure times are confirmed as shown below

Could we politely request that all those who are travelling on the coaches on Sunday please wait before boarding the coaches.  Your representative will make you aware of what coach you are on.
This is especially applicable to those leaving from the Liberty where the majority are boarding. We are very tight on numbers and therefore do not want confusion if you board the wrong coach.

So you are not one of the lucky ones going to support the lads away at Exeter and are wondering what shall I do and where shall I watch the game.

You are probably thinking I don’t have BT Sport or wouldn’t it be great to watch with a bunch of other supporters.

Well now if you don’t have BT you can watch the game with like-minded supporters as we have teamed up with The Pavilion (click here to view their website) who will be showing all European Rugby Champions Cup away games for us.

Pavilion 01This is a great venue, situated halfway between Neath and Swansea. It has plenty of parking if you wish to drive or if not you can get a train to Neath and taxi over for around £5.

It has everything you need, it is family friendly has several screens to watch the game, fabulous food and of course a well-stocked bar and as an added bonus all season ticket members will receive 10% discount on their food bill (drinks excluded), so ensure you take your season ticket with you.

Sunday lunch is available but will need to be booked in advance and will need to be prior to kick off, contact details are listed in the above link
