A group of supporters who won the signed Ospreys Shirt in yesterday’s raffle has kindly donated this back to us so we can auction it off and all funds to be donated to The Jerry Collins Memorial fund.
Unfortunately we did not get the group’s name but we want to thank the 3 gentlemen for this generous offer. If you know who they are please let us know.
The shirt is last season’s shirt (unframed) and we ask anyone interested in bidding please send an email to secretary@ospreyssupportersclub.com with the amount you would like to bid.
Each day we will post and tweet the amount of highest bid for that day so you are all aware what needs to be beaten.
The bidding opens Tuesday 15th September at 9am and closes 8pm Sunday 20th September.
This Sunday gives the Ospreys team and supporters the opportunity to remember former Liberty favorite, the late Jerry Collins.
The Ospreys Website Article contains some of the details planned for the day. Please listen carefully to announcements at the stadium on game day.
The OSC will be supporting a bucket collection at the match as well as running a charity raffle in the Riverside Bar after the game. All proceeds will go to the Jerry Collins Memorial Trust Fund to help support Ayla. Tickets are priced at £2 a strip and are available to purchase pre-match in The 2003 Club and pre and post-match in The Riverside.
As this is a special raffle, we’ve managed to secure some special prizes including:
To everyone who is travelling to the game this Friday, we have been extended an invite by the
supporters club at Malone Rugby Football Club.
Malone is the closest rugby club and bar to Ulster ground Kingspan Stadium who have in the past invited and welcomed Toulon to our club and more recently Glasgow Warriors supporters. This is a great place to socialise and more importantly give visiting fans a base whilst visiting Belfast.
Directions
Kingspan (Ravenhill to the old hands) you get the 6A metro bus (they are pink) this departs from SS Moores Sports shop in the city centre just down from City Hall. To go to Malone you can get off at the B&M bargain shop and the club is just up the road that runs adjacent to the shop (Gibson Park).
The Ospreys Supporters Club together with the rest of the Joint Supporters Group are extremely pleased to announce that representatives from the four regional supporters groups will be attending a meeting with the soon to-be WRU Chief Executive, Martyn Phillips on Monday 7th September.
The JSG group kindly received a very positive letter from Mr Phillips in recent weeks which outlined his vision for the future of Welsh rugby, and resulted in an invite to meet with the man himself.
After our very successful meeting with Gareth Davies and Mark Davies on Judgement Day, together with the invite from Mr Phillips, we are pleased to say that communications between the JSG and the WRU are much improved and stronger, and we hope that our relationship can continue to build in a positive manner.
We would like to thank Mr Phillips for his invite and we look forward to meeting him.
We will report back to all members after the meeting
